Durch seine Kompatibilität mit dem SMART DECT SIP-System KX-TGP600 bietet das Color Wireless-Terminal KX-TPA68 umfassende Vorteile zu herkömmlichen Endgeräten. Durch die DECT-Fähigkeit ist die Installation deutlich vereinfacht: Kein kabelgebundenes LAN ist hierfür erforderlich.
Das KX-TPA68 ist ein optionales Endgerät für das SMART Wireless DECT SIP-System KX-TGP600. Dieses kann mit drei verschiedenen Handsets (SMART DECT SIP KX-TPA60, BUSINESS DECT SIP KX-UDT121 und TOUGH DECT SIP KX-UDT131) sowie jetzt zwei Endgeräten (SMART Wireless- KX-TPA65 und SMART Color Wireless-Terminal KX-TPA68) betrieben werden.
